Aloo Matar Chaat

  • 4 Cup White Peas
  • 4 Potatoes
  • 1 Tomato
  • ½ Cup Cilantro
  • 1 ½ Cup Onions
  • 2 Green Chilis
  • 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 ½ Tbsp Chaat Masala
  • 1 ½ Tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1 ½ Tsp Salt
  • 2 Tbsp Tamarind Pulp
  • Sev to Garnish

Directions

  1. Soak 1 cup of white peas overnight 12 hours. Rinse and drain white peas.
  2. In a pot boil 4 potatoes. Cool, drain, peel and cube.
  3. Dice onions.
  4. Chop tomato.
  5. Chop Cilantro
  6. Slice Green Chilis.
  7. In a bowl add boiled white peas, cubed potatoes, diced onions, chopped tomato, sliced green chili, chopped coriander, tamarind pulp, lemon juice, salt, chaat masala, cumin powder.
  8. Combine well.
  9. Garnish with Sev on top, before serving.
  10. Enjoy.
