Chilli Cheese Toast


  • 4 Slices Bread
  • 8 Tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Cloves of Garlic
  • 1/2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 Tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 1 Medium Green Chili
  • 1/2 Cup Mozzarella Cheese Shredded
  • 1 Tbsp Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 Tbsp Cilantro Finley Chopped
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • Sweet Chili Sauce (Dip)
  1. First, add the finely chopped Cilantro, Garlic Cloves and the Green Chili. (You can increase or decrease the amount of chili according to your preference)
  2. Then add the Italian Seasoning, Salt, Black Pepper, Red Pepper Flakes to the softened butter.
  3. Mix them well with the butter.
  4. Spread the butter mix to both sides of the bread slices.
  5. Now add cheese to the buttered bread slices making sure the bread slices are covered with cheese evenly.
  6. Then sprinkle some red pepper flakes on top.
  7. Bake them at 200°C or 395°F preheated oven for about 3-5 minutes or until they become crispy.
  8. Alternatively, if you want to make the toasts in a stove, place a heavy bottomed pan on low flame and place the bread slices in the pan. Then cover and cook for about 5 minutes or until the cheese melts. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes on top of melted cheese. The bread gets nice and toasted in the bottom.
  9. Take them out of the oven/pan when done, slice diagonally and serve immediately.
  10. Enjoy!
