My husband is preparing our lunch today. He is cooking beef.
- Beef 1 Kg
- Onion 2 Medium Sliced
- Ginger and Garlic Paste 4 Teaspoons
- Dry Red Chillies 6-7
- Cinnamon Sticks 5-6
- Bay Leaf 5-6
- Cardamon 5-6
- Black Peppercorns 8-10
- White Vinegar – 1/2 cup
- Sour Plain Yogurt – 1/2 Cup
- Turmeric – 1/2 Teaspoon
- Kashmiri Powder – 1 Teaspoon
- Nutmeg 1 Whole Crushed
- Javentri Powder 1/3 teaspoon
- Meat Masala 1 Teaspoon
- Salt – 2 Teaspoons
- Oil – 1 Cup
This recipe is very easy. You mix all the ingredients together and leave it to marinate for 1 hour. You can double this mixture and freeze the other half – to use at a later date.
Get a heavy bottom pot and heat it on high. Pour in the marinated meat and cover and cook for 1 hour. You can add water as the cooking continues to have gravy.
Once it’s done – You can add green chillies to garnish and serve with white rice, naan, paratha.
