Ingredients
- 1 Cup All Purpose Flour
- 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
- 8 Eggs
- 1 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 1/2 Cup Powder Milk (I use Nido Dry Milk Powder)
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 1 Cup Canola Oil or Butter (More Flavor)
- 4 Tablespoons Liquid Milk
Equiptment
1 Baking Mold or 2 Small Loaf Pans
Instructions
I use 2 seperate bowls to make this pound cake. First bowl is for all the dry ingredients.
Add flour, baking powder, powdered sugar, salt and mix with a hand wisk.
In 2nd bowl – Add 8 eggs including the egg yolks (You can omit Yolks if you prefer) but this is a pound cake and the egg yolks give it the nice yellow color. Add milk and oil. Mix all the wet ingredients together.
Add the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix well.
Pour into your greased mold. Make sure your oven is pre-heated at 350 degrees. Bake pound cake for 15-20 minutes. Keep an eye on it so it doesn’t burn. Different ovens reach high tempretures and cooks quickly.
You can eat these the next day – keep them in the fridge for extra freshness and warm in microwave.
Enjoy!
